Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2024
Service Agreement
By requesting services from Cascade Plumbing & Drain, you agree to these terms. We provide plumbing services as described in our estimates and service agreements. All work is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with local building codes and industry standards.
Estimates & Pricing
We provide written estimates for all non-emergency work before beginning any project. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The price quoted is the price you pay, unless additional work is discovered during the project, in which case we will notify you and obtain approval before proceeding. Emergency service calls include a diagnostic fee that is applied toward the cost of repair if you choose to proceed.
Payment Terms
We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Payment terms vary by project:
- Standard repairs: Payment due upon completion
- Projects under $2,500: 50% deposit, balance upon completion
- Projects over $2,500: 50% deposit, progress payments as agreed, balance upon completion
- Emergency service: Payment due upon completion of emergency work
Warranty
All labor performed by Cascade Plumbing & Drain carries a minimum one-year warranty from the date of completion. Major installations including repiping, water heater installation, and sewer line replacement carry extended warranties as specified in your service agreement. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are separate from and in addition to our labor warranty. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or acts of nature.
Scheduling & Cancellations
We schedule appointments during our regular business hours and offer emergency service 24/7. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows may be subject to a scheduling fee. We strive to arrive within the scheduled window and will communicate any delays promptly.
